Shape Shifters!

In Maths we’ve been investigating shapes both 2D and 3D. We’ve been planning and making model cities using shapes.

Here’s a fun game I found to help you develop your knowledge of all things shape related:

Fraction Madness!

In Maths we’ve been looking at fractions – adding, multiplying and dividing. This is where your multiplication tables knowledge really comes in handy. Don’t forget to simplify your answers!

Here’s a cool game to practise:

Multiplication is King!

In Maths we have been focussing on place value, multiples and factors.

We can’t over-emphasise the importance of multiplication, and having a good “automatic recall” of times tables helps us with many different areas of maths.

During class time we spend a lot of time practising our times tables and using multiplication to help in our problem solving.

Here is a fun multiplication website you might find fun to practise your
timestables skills.
